Gorgeous old mansion kept in great condition and maintaining original charm. The inn was a destination unto itself. Highly recommend! It’s a 10-15 min walk down the hill to downtown, so just beware you’ll have to walk back up it to get home. Their breakfast partnership with Lowell Inn was an amazing addition to the experience! Luxury yet a step back in history.

The room was nice except for the bathroom that didn't have a door. Only a curtain separated it from the bedroom so that was a little awkward. My major complaint was breakfast or the lack thereof. Breakfast wasn't served at the property at all. They provide you with a gift certificate that can be used at a nearby hotel. Once at the hotel you're provided with a trimmed down menu that includes very few options (oatmeal, French toast, a small breakfast sandwich, and a couple others). Anything like bacon, toast, etc. was an additional cost. It felt really cheap and kind of ruined the experience. You don't go to a bed and breakfast and expect a cheap off-site breakfast.

A Perfect Stay – Highly Recommended! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and beautiful decor throughout the property. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The bedding was incredibly comfortable...some of the best sleep I’ve had in a long time! It’s clear that comfort and guest experience are top priorities here. What truly set this place apart were the owners. They were wonderfully kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their hospitality made the stay feel extra special, and it’s clear they put their heart into making this a memorable experience for every guest. They responded to my questions very quickly, and also checked in to make sure everything was ok (the weather was unseasonably cold and they wanted to be sure the home was warm enough). I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, cozy getaway. Whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or just in need of a relaxing break, this B&B is a true gem.

Beautiful Victorian hotel. The beds were soft and comfortable. We had the giverny, and the whirlpool tub was luxurious along with the fireplace. Loved the free chocolates. Our tv was set up with streaming which was nice. Even though the walls were thin, it was fairly quiet. The robes were also probably the best hotel robes I’ve used. Not far from the center of all the happenings. Will definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I have stayed at the Aurora Staples Inn 4 times since 2021, we've turned it into an annual tradition that always sincerely look forward to. We stay in the carriage house and find it to be so cozy & perfectly private. I'd recommend staying in the cooler months because then you really get to enjoy the fireplace and coziness of it all. The B&B is a short walk to downtown Stillwater which makes it so easy to come and go. Rachelle has been easily accessible the once or twice we've needed anything and we find her business to be so accommodating. If you're thinking of booking, just do it! Also make sure you utilize the gift card to oasis cafe - soooo delicious!
