about 2 months agoIncredibly grateful for the honest and great people that work here. I accidentally left my expensive watch in my room and very fortunately the staff returned it to the front desk and I was able to work with them to get my watch back. Aside from the incredible people, the room was comfortable, clean, and the AC worked well. Breakfast had plenty of options. I enjoyed my time here and it’s in a great location.

about 2 months agoI was overcharged for a room over a weekend (charged $298/night a basic room when you could book on their website that same day for $199), so cancelled our booking and rebooked it on site but AmericInn never refunded me the initial value. Over two weeks pass and they have charged me twice, the initial $600 (initial two nights) and $199 (when I cancelled and rebooked). I reached out to them to try and have it sorted out since I paid over $300 more for a two night stay because they charged me twice, and they had no record of it. Took multiple calls and emails to figure it out, and even in the end they reimbursed me ONLY $97 out of the $300 extra that they charged me. They allegedly charged my card to someone else’s room in our party, but everyone else also was charged for that night. They refused to help and told me to sort it out with my group, when it is their mess up. This hotel’s workers and manager are unprofessional and unhelpful, and if you have any issues at all you will likely be out of money. If I didn’t check my bank statements I would I have been charged $300 extra because they never refunded me. In the end, I’m still being charged $100 more than if I didn’t try to cancel and rebook at the cheaper rate. I will never stay here again for any Stillwater weekend, and would urge others not to either. I’m going to avoid staying at any AmericInn again over this.

3 months agoStayed with my partner for a night just to get away from the chaos at home. Beautiful maintained grounds and clean and quiet rooms. The breakfast was free so can't complain. Great front desk service

4 months agoWe were in town for a basketball tournament in Stillwater and this location was great. No complaints about the room, pool was too small with all the people, and my main complaint was the breakfast. My family and I went to breakfast at 9AM and there was no scrambled eggs, sausage links were cold, all beverages were out except coffee, 1 bagel for toasting, no milk for cereal, and no one watching the breakfast area. We asked the gentleman at the front desk to help which he did but then there was no one at the front desk to help others trying to check out.

8 months agoThe overall experience of the hotel was amazing! The room was clean, we did have an issue with the smoke alarm being faulty but they helped asap with the issue. The staff was courteous and respectful, helping out with a dispute with expedia charging for the room and the system with pre-check in charging for the room as well.Quick and easy matter to fix. Also the atmosphere was peaceful since we decided to come in during the slower season to enjoy a little vacation from home! 10/10 would book here again!
